Alan "Ari" Moskowitz

Ari’s practice focuses on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, real estate development, leasing transactions, and corporate formation.
Ari also has extensive experience in corporate bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He has represented debtors, creditors, lenders, distressed asset acquirers, and other parties-in-interest in complex bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings.
Prior to forming Moskowitz & Lefkowitz LLP, Ari was Of Counsel at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he worked for 10 years. He started his legal career at Winston & Strawn LLP.
Ari earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2009 from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Touro College in 2006. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
